How much space is needed for a bouncy castle with a slide?
The exact space varies by unit, but as a general rule, you should allow at least 2ft of clearance on each side, 5ft at the front for safe entry/exit, and 5ft at the rear for the blower and tube. Please check the specific dimensions on our Package Hire Page.
Can the bouncy castle be set up on any surface?
For outdoor hires, inflatables must be set up on natural flat grass so they can be securely anchored with metal stakes. We cannot set up on artificial grass, concrete, or decking outdoors due to safety anchoring regulations. Indoor setups on hard hall floors are perfectly fine using safety sandbags.
Weather & Logistics
What happens if it rains on the day of my event?
Most of our bouncy castles come with built-in rain covers for light showers. However, if the weather involves heavy rain or wind speeds (including gusts) exceeding 24mph, we cannot set up for safety reasons. We will always contact you the day before to discuss the forecast.
How long does setup and collection take?
It typically takes our team 15 to 30 minutes to safely set up and inflate your equipment, and about the same to pack it away. We aim to arrive at least one hour before your party starts.
Do I need to provide anything for the candy floss machine?
All we require is access to a standard 13amp plug socket within 25–30 metres of the setup area. We provide the machine, ingredients, and sticks/bags as part of your bundle.
